Visit in Slovakia. 28.02-06.03.2010
The first visit in new 2010 took place in Slovakia. Once more from 28th February to 6th March the teachers and students from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Germany and Poland met to cooperate within the Comenius Project.
As usual the students stayed at some families having a chance to get to know Slovak customs and lifestyle. They also train their abilities in speaking English.
We were greeted by the officials of Martin and the school headmistress. We were shown a school building, we watched a nice cultural programme and a very interesting computer presentation on Martin and the Turiec region.
We also participated in some trips organized for us. We visited the Slovak National Museum in Martin, a mineral water well in Klastorna and a wonderful nativity scene in Rajecka Lesna.
We had a great time skiing in Snowland Valencianska Valley and bathing in the Spa nad Aquapark Turcianske Teplice.
During the Comenius meeting the teachers discussed the way of achievement of the other Comenius tasks.
The visit was a nice experience for everybody and snow was a great fun for the Turkish teachers and students.
