Visit in Turkey. 20.10.2008
From 6th till 12th October 2008 there was the first visit to Turkey. There were teachers and students from Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland. There were 24 people altogether.
We spent great time there, the weather was marvellous, the views unforgettable and we made friends very quickly. We felt special- Turkish people turned out to be friendly, hospitable and really open. Ugur and Sibel did their best to make feel us happy and satisfied and they succeeded.
During the visit there was an opportunity to share ideas about Comenius project- there were so many issues, interesting questions and points to disscuss. That's why we had some Comenius meetings at Turkish school and we arranged and planned all the details of our project.
We had a chance to see the part of their country, their culture and habits,too. All of our students stayed at Turkish students' homes and they enjoyed it very much. Our Turkish frends showed us Cesme- a beautiful and picturesque town by the sea and of course we swam there. We also saw Ephesus with lots of monuments and historical landmarks.
We felt really sorry to leave. We really appreciate how hard our Turkish friends worked to make us feel amazed- Izmir is a breathtakig place we had a chance to see. We are lucky we have so nice friends. Thank you, good bye and see you again.
