News from PolandOur job in November 2008 In November we were working on the next part of the project "The beginnings of religion in our country". On History, Religious Education lessons we reminded information concernig the beginnings of Chistianity in Poland. After these lessons our students worked in groups and prepared the posters on this subject. Some of the posters were sent to our partners in different countries and some wre used for a school decoration. Five most important religious festivals in Poland In December we collected materials for assembling the diary. A group of pupils searched for information of our most important holidays. The group made several pictures about these holidays and their customs. Finally we sorted out all our materials in the Diary and attached some photos too. After that we sent the diary to the Slovak school. 
Album: Selected sacred buildings in Poland In March we created the album of Sacred Monuments of our country. Before making an album we organized a trip to Cracow. The students took photos and gathered different materials about Sacred Monuments. From all these materials we chose a few important sacred monuments and the group of pupils prepared albums. We put together everything in the album and then sent it to Germany.
Wedding ceremony in Poland In May the students of our school prepared the traditional Polish wedding ceremony. Before making a video they provided themselves with typical wedding clothes, they chose cast- a bride, a groom, bestmen and other guests. Our classrooms were used as a reception hall and young couple's houses. The most important- the wedding ceremony was recorded in our catholic church in Konopiska. Everyone had a great time however the students had put so much effort in it.
